The Content of the Integration Course in Düsseldorf

The Integration Course in Düsseldorf is intended for refugees, for people of German origin emigrating from Eastern Europe, and for immigrants. Participation is open to new immigrants and to those who have already been living in Germany for a longer period.

  • The first part of the Integration Course consists of 600 hours of language instruction in German.
  • The second part of the programme is an orientation course of 60 hours during which participants will learn about Germany’s values and legal system, as well as German history and culture.
